Join Pharmacist and Menopause Specialist Faiza Kennedy for an enlightening webinar where she will explore how optimising a woman’s hormones may help to reduce prescribing cascades and inappropriate polypharmacy.
This CPD event will:
BPharm(Hons)
Pharmacist and Menopause Specialist
Faiza is Pharmacist Clinical Lead at Newson Clinic who has worked as a prescribing advisor and practice pharmacist in England and Wales for over 25 years. Listening to Louise’s podcast inspired her to change her career and specialise in menopause care.
Faiza feels strongly that women should be empowered to recognise the symptoms of menopause in themselves and their friends and family so that they can seek help early and avoid needless suffering. She finds it a privilege to be able to help women feel better and live more.
Faiza says: ‘Working in GP practices for many years, I saw so many women struggle with symptoms despite taking multiple medications including antidepressants and pain medications.
‘I didn’t join the dots until I went through the perimenopause myself- it hit me like a train and it affected my husband, my children and my work. After listening to just one of Dr Newson’s podcasts, I knew I needed to work in menopause care. Now I spend a lot of time learning, thinking and talking about preventing disease and promoting health in women. Throughout my career, I have been lucky enough to have tried different roles and enjoyed them, but I finally feel like I have found a place where team members are like family and where we all have a strong sense of being on a mission to stop unnecessary suffering.’
Join Dr Sumi Rampling for an enlightening CPD webinar for healthcare professionals on how hormones can impact the wellbeing and functioning of women with ADHD, as well as management strategies.
Using a patient case study, Dr Rampling will explore factors including ADHD diagnosis, and how oestradiol, progesterone, and testosterone may impact the brain.
This webinar will also cover:
